J-Pepper comes to town


Qwoden's day started out to be like any other board gaming event. Vin, Jay and Jim showed up (all on time no less) and we commenced. Things soon took a drastic turn for the worse and the house was very nearly destroyed in the ensuing chaos. Thinking of posterity, I snapped a picture from my entry way at grave personal risk. Then, with a deft bit of baking I was able to calm things down a bit and eventually all was back to normal.

We finnished the evening with Jay kicking our butts at Blokus, which prompted him to immediately go and buy his own copy -- presumably in order to humble members of his own family in similar fashion.

Wow, it sure didn't feel as geeky as it looks. Hope to see more tile-based fun in the near future.

If you see Lake Louise, start walking in the other direction

These direction might be a little bit rough. You could probably get away with these type of vague instructions on the prairie without becoming seriously lost. Although death from boredom is a distinct possibility for some. At any rate, the title of this post gives you a pretty good idea how to begin my latest mountain expedition. As always, I was guided into the wilds by fellow Quester, Dave Aschim. We are starting to have a bit of a mountain legacy: 2009 ,  2010 , 2011 , 2014 , and now 2015 A map with a rough route drawn on it can be found here . One more note. I took a series of "geo panoramas" or " photospheres " as Google calls them. If you follow one of the links to Google Maps (I tried to imbed on the site, but failed), it isn't just a static image.
