SK Arts Equipment Grant

Hooray for financial support from SK Arts, made possible through funding provided by the government of Saskatchewan.

It has been an incredible boost towards a life-long dream--being an independent artist. The thing is, of course, that none of us is really independent. Not in the way we'd like to imagine. There are networks of family and friends who support us. There are strangers and acquaintances willing to take a chance on us. And sometimes, if you are lucky, there are rock solid organizations who are there specifically to lift us just a little higher when those other things aren't quite enough or not quite at the right time.

Witness my good fortune. Using this generous grant, I was able to purchase the following:
  1. Samsung Freestyle portable projector and battery (the white and black thing on the table)
  2. IPEVO VZ-X wireless document camera (the blue thing)
  3. An Elite Screens 84' pop up projection screen
  4. Several cables and adapters to make it all play together
  5. and An orange Bently rolling case to carry everything to my shows
I'll be able to use these in various combinations to continue making and presenting great live children's entertainment in Saskatoon and beyond.
