A response to Federico’s  concern that series 3 users are all like his mom ( Connected #334 ) . I feel like I may be getting a bit more than my Mickey Mouse’s worth from this thing. But, I’ll let you be the judge of that. For the oddly curious, I've previously done a (handwritten) review of the series 3 , in 2018. Also, the series 0 , in 2015 General Use Pattern I put on my watch first thing in the morning (6:30am) and take it off when I go to bed (10:30pm).  Mostly, the watch serves as a way to get silent notifications (I hate phone pings and constant phone glancing), and to add items to my todo, omnifocus, and grocery lists. I also use it disturbingly often to locate my misplaces phone :) There are typically three scenarios where I might remove it during the day: top-up charging, photography, keynote slideshow (see below) Exercise I track yoga and walking exercise after breakfast. As we explored Calgary’s newest library, the differences between Wendy and I made themselves as clear as ever. We decided to do “he said, she said” comparison posts. Following is the Wendy Brain:  Library as art gallery When Mike and I arrived at Calgary’s new central library, it felt like we were arriving at an art gallery. There was big   sculpture shouting community out front, and the building’s architecture flowed. But when you get inside, the volunteers (yes, there are regular tours departing from the front doors) from tour groups to describe exactly how form and function are married in the building.  We’ll talk about that more as we go, but favorite elements. Mike loved the stairs and how they formed the heart of the building.  I thought the stairs, combined with open but demarcated spaces give you windows into all the special spaces. Late February... I’ve suffered my winter darkness and am considering emerging. I started working on this updated Apple Watch review/rumination several months ago and have just got around to finishing it. For what it’s worth...
